The official homepage calls Ventura Surf Club the oldest established continuing surf club in Ventura County and describes its cultural and charitable mission. The current Surf History page did not provide readable founding details.
Membership & community.
The live Membership page lists yearly Junior 17 and Under membership at $15, Adult at $30 and Family at $40. Prices were checked October 2, 2026 and should be rechecked before enrollment.
The club works with local organizations and nonprofits to protect oceans and beaches and raises money through events for local schools and charities in greater Ventura.

C Street / Ventura
The official calendar identifies C Street for the California Cove Classic, and the club hosts the C Street Classic. The MSA homepage describes Battle of the Lines against Ventura at County Line. These are event ties, not exclusive beach rights.
