Surf Team Wax Program: 20% Off for Team Riders
Famous supplies surf wax to surf teams. If you ride for a high school surf team, a college surf team, a boardriders club or a surf club, your team gets its own Famous code worth 20% off Famous products for its riders. One code per team, issued to a coach, captain or club officer, shared with the riders.
How the team wax program works
- A coach, captain or club officer requests the code. Use the contact page with the team or club name, the league or series you compete in (NSSA, SSS, USBR, WSL Boardriders, ISA or your local series), and an email we can reach you on.
- Famous confirms the team and issues a custom code. Each team gets its own code so you can share it with your riders without it ending up everywhere.
- Riders use the code at checkout on livefamous.com. It takes 20% off Famous products: surf wax in every temperature, traction, tees and hats.
Who qualifies
- High school surf teams and school surf clubs
- College and university surf teams and clubs
- Boardriders clubs and community surf clubs
- Junior programs and youth teams run by a club or school
If your team is not listed on our site yet, that is fine. Request a code and we will add you.
Want your team's name on the wax?
Teams that want branded bars for fundraisers, contests or the team bag can order custom private-label surf wax: your artwork on the label, Famous wax inside, from 840 bars. Many teams sell custom bars at contests and events and use the team code for everyday wax.
Team wax program questions
How much is the team discount?
20% off Famous products for team riders, using the team's code at checkout.
Who can request a team code?
A coach, team captain, faculty advisor or club officer. Famous confirms the team before issuing the code, so please use a team, school or club email where possible.
Does every rider need their own code?
No. Each team gets one code to share with its riders.
Can a club with several teams get one code?
Yes. A club or school with multiple squads can use one code for all of them, or request separate codes if you prefer to track them.
Does Famous sponsor teams or supply free wax?
The team program is a 20% rider discount and a custom code. Sponsorships and event support are handled case by case; mention what you have in mind when you request your code.
Is my team's profile page an endorsement?
No. Team profiles on this site are sourced from public competition results and school or club pages, and they are not official team or school pages. They exist so riders and coaches can find the program. If something on your team's profile is wrong, tell us when you request your code and we will fix it.
