The surf program.

The current official Surfing page describes a team operating since 2011 and its 2013 NSSA Northeast high-school title. It also reports fifth and sixth places for 2023 and 2024. These school-reported historical results are not current rankings. The boys school serves grades 8-12, but surf eligibility for each grade must be confirmed. The campus is 611 Cedar Avenue, Richland.

Joining & eligibility.

The official Sport Registration page directs families to LeagueApps, one account per family, and says registration adds students to communication lists rather than committing them to a sport. A valid physical must be on file. The surf page describes coaching across ability levels, but that is not a guaranteed place or replacement for ocean screening. Current surf grades, eligibility, selection, clearance, water skills, fees, equipment, parent consent and transport need confirmation from the school or authorized operator. No enrollment, payment or student data is accepted here.

Community & support.

The surf page links competitive surfing with later college competition and work in the surf industry. The school promotes brotherhood and service, while its athletics support routes are general school programs. No current surf-specific donation, sponsor agreement or volunteer event is offered here.

The beach & safety.

The campus is not a surf meetup. Current practice beach, access permission, transport, parent consent, water skills, ocean supervision and weather decisions must be confirmed by the authorized adult operator. A dated beach reference is not a standing invitation or current safety plan. No unsupervised session is offered here.

The 2025 NSSA Northeast event entry list carries this school affiliation. Entry rows are not current results or standings.

Coaches & school ties.

The current official Surfing page names Kevin Richards as head coach. Its contact display and underlying mail target disagree, so no unverified email is copied; use the school's current program and athletics routes. The registration page names athletic trainers Matt Pineo and Maeve McFadden for general paperwork support, not surf coaches. Student identities and personal contacts are omitted.
