The surf program.

The official St. Augustine High School Surfing page explicitly names its joint team with Academy of Our Lady of Peace. It describes an established club competing through SSSDivision IV, distinct from St. Augustine Prep in New Jersey. The current 2026-27 Division 4 draw also names St. Augustine/OLP. The March 9, 2023 Augustinian reports that the Saints/OLP team was founded more than 25 years earlier by Deacon Hardick and Jim Shaw. This is an attributed historical age, not an exact founding year. Joining & eligibility.

The official shared-team page accepts different surf abilities but requires strong swimming before joining. PE credit and a varsity letter may be available under eligibility standards, not automatically. The school describes Mission Beach practice and spring swim-team cross-training; current times and access must be confirmed directly. School grades, selection, medical clearance, consent, equipment, fees and transport remain subject to the authorized program. No enrollment or payment is accepted here.

Community & support.

The official page invites families, friends and alumni to practices and encourages spring swim-team participation. This is a shared-school community model, not a current blanket invitation or a sponsor agreement.

The beach & safety.

A campus or past contest beach is not a current meetup. Confirm approved location, transport, consent, swim and surf skills, supervision, weather and ocean conditions with the authorized adult operator. No unsupervised session, booking or standing invitation is offered here.

Contests & results.

The seed records a 2025-26 SSS division/source label. Its linked workbook now displays 2026-27 with blank matchup and score grids. It no longer corroborates an archived 2025-26 result at that URL, so no current score, standing or complete team count is claimed. Current fixtures and membership require the school/operator and league.

Coaches & school ties.

The official shared-team page names Julia Mekrut as head coach, with Jim Eischen, Kevin Flynn, Carmine Rocci and Jim Shaw in its coaching description. Current season assignments and ocean-supervision roles require confirmation.
