The surf program.
The 2025-26 SSS San Diego Division 5 table uses R Buena Vista as the school label. A Sun Diego report titled the 2013 High School Surf Team Showdown also documents Rancho Buena Vista competing and winning its event division. That is historical event reporting, not a founding date, current sponsor relationship or present ranking.
Joining & eligibility.
The official school athletics page provides athletic staff, clearance and sport-request routes, but its fetched content did not establish a present surf-specific sign-up policy. League scores do not create an open invitation to practice.
