The surf program.
The current school athletic-program directory lists Surf Club. The Point Press article dated October 7,2022 reports a 2019 start and growth from about 15 participants to more than 30 by 2022. These are historical reported counts, not the present squad. The school is separate from Point Pleasant Beach.
Joining & eligibility.
The school athletic information site uses ArbiterSports each season, a health-history update and a yearly physical within 365 days. It says only the Medical Eligibility Form is submitted to the nurse or Athletics Office, with school-doctor clearance before practice or tryouts. Its displayed calendar is 2025-26 and is not a current open deadline. Confirm how these general rules apply to Surf Club. Current surf grades, eligibility, selection, clearance, water skills, fees, equipment, parent consent and transport need confirmation from the school or authorized operator. No enrollment, payment or student data is accepted here.
Community & support.
The 2022 school-newspaper article describes close peer support and surfing at Bridge Avenue beach in Bay Head. It is dated student reporting, not a currently approved meetup or supervision plan.
The beach & safety.
The campus is not a surf meetup. Current practice beach, access permission, transport, parent consent, water skills, ocean supervision and weather decisions must be confirmed by the authorized adult operator. A dated beach reference is not a standing invitation or current safety plan. No unsupervised session is offered here.

The 2025 NSSA Northeast event entry list carries this school affiliation. Entry rows are not current results or standings.
Coaches & school ties.
The current official athletic-program listing names Coach Nelson for Surf Club, without a full name in the visible label. The October 2022 article also names Coach Kim, but that older role is not promoted to a current appointment. Current assistants and ocean supervision require school confirmation. The Panther is official district branding, not a surf-only mark. Student identities and personal contacts are omitted.
