A school-listed Oceanside Surf Club with published beach and team context, plus dated SSS San Diego Division 1 results.

The surf program.

The official school clubs page lists Surf Club and describes Saturday morning club sessions and Sunday team competition. The 2025-26 SSS San Diego Division 1 sheet lists Oceanside in team matchups. A club and its competition team may have different entry requirements; the listing does not establish a current roster or surf PE course.

Joining & eligibility.

The clubs page provides a school adult contact route. The athletics page publishes annual packet and physical requirements for school athletes, but whether every Surf Club member falls under those rules is not established here. Current club versus team eligibility, grades, selection, swim checks, clearance, fees, equipment, consent and transport: confirm with the adult program operator. No student enrollment is accepted here.

Community & support.

The school athletics page says varsity coaches or staff undertake community service events. This is school-wide guidance, not proof of a specific Surf Club project or that the competition team has the same designation. The general sports-medicine support described by the school is not a surf sponsorship.

The beach & safety.

The school clubs page says Surf Club meets north of the Pier on Saturday mornings and the team competes Sundays. The page is associated with 2025-26 school activities, so this is published context, not a confirmed current meetup or safe-water invitation. Present beach meeting point, time, transport, parking, adult supervision, access and conditions decisions: reconfirm before attending.

Contests & results.

The 2025-26 SSS Division 1 sheet records Oceanside tied with La Jolla at 66-66 in its fourth matchup and losing its final matchup 76-48 to San Dieguito. The final overall record shows one win, three losses and a tie; the tie is not silently counted as a win. These are dated team results, not a present ranking.

Coaches & school ties.

The official clubs entry has TBA in its advisor field but publishes Fran Prathers school contact as the route. That does not establish her as current surf head coach. Darrin Young Jr. is the school athletics contact, not assumed to be the surf operator. The Pirates school mark is from the official site. Student names and personal contacts are omitted.

Sources & open questions.

Checked October 3, 2026. Historical SSS figures reflect the earlier 2025-26 source read. Published SSS workbook links are reused and now show newer 2026-27 grids; those links are not permanent archives or current rankings. Confirm current entries and fixtures with the school and league. Public-source profile, not a school endorsement. Old seasons and results remain dated. Current operating details require the school or authorized adult program operator.

Student names, individual student results and personal student contacts are omitted.
