The club story.
The official About page describes a surf club built on surfing, community service and respect for local surf history. Its community includes Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Venice, Los Angeles, Agoura, Calabasas and the San Fernando Valley.
California Secretary of State record 4723666 and its original Articles of Incorporation establish an initial filing on March 30, 2021 for Northern LA Boardriders, Corp., a nonprofit public-benefit corporation whose stated purpose is a surfing club hosting events and raising money for charitable causes. Membership & community.
The club links to Northern LA Boardriders on Liveheats. The 2025/26 Surf Series membership page lists $65 for the first option, with a second option at $0, plus family totals from $120 for two to $270 for five or more. These are season-labeled prices, not a promise of 2026/27 pricing or open enrollment. Non-competing membership is listed. Current renewal window, eligibility and total members: confirm with the club.
The official mission emphasizes giving back, protection of the environment and ocean, and a positive platform for younger surfers. Its public member page names a board of directors, including Allen Sarlo, Dillon Perillo, John Wander, Solo Scott, Takuji Masuda and Tracy Axel.
