The surf program.
The official Club Sports page links LCC Surf Club. The linked club site describes Blue and Green teams for the 2023-24 season. Separately, a school course document describes first-period Surf PE/Lifesaving. The 2025-26 SSS tables list La Costa Canyon squads in San Diego Divisions 3 and 4. This is one school profile, not two schools, and PE participation is not assumed to equal competition selection.
Joining & eligibility.
The school course description states that Surf PE uses a 500m swim test before admittance and requires students to provide a surfboard, wetsuit and transportation. This undated course document is published guidance, not a confirmed present sign-up notice. The club sites visible season is 2023-24. Current course availability, prerequisites, team selection, fees, consent and clearance must be reconfirmed separately.
Community & support.
The LCC Foundation says its athletics committee supports, educates, fundraises for and promotes both club and CIF sports teams. That is a school-wide support structure, not proof of a specific current surf allocation. The older club site also mentions team parties, field trips and clinics.
The beach & safety.
The school course description requires transport to and from the PE class. The older club site lists 2023-24 contest locations including Mission Beach, but does not establish a present practice invitation. Current home break, authorized meetup, parking, transport, weather decisions, adult supervision and water-safety plan: confirm with the school and club.

The 2025-26 SSS Division 3 sheet lists La Costa Canyon A and the Division 4 sheet lists its B squad.
