The surf program.

The official KS Maui surf page names its adult coaching staff and describes Kekaula Campbell as the first KSM surf coach, in his second year. Its heading says 2025-2026, while the sign-up text says 2024-2025. This mismatch is retained rather than inventing a precise team founding year or claiming current enrollment. The campus address is 275 Aapueo Parkway, Pukalani.

Joining & eligibility.

The general KS Maui athletics page requires the enrollment agreement and waiver, physician-completed physical and health history, applicable concussion/baseline requirements and sport-specific sign-up. It says physicals expire after 13 months. The surf page links an older-season form; do not treat it as an open 2026-27 tryout. Current eligibility, grades, sign-up dates, competition selection, swimming checks, clearance, fees, equipment, consent and transport must be confirmed with the authorized adult operator. No enrollment, payment or student data is accepted here.

Community & support.

The official program describes surf coaching experience and provides campus athletics support routes. General KS fundraising resources and apparel links are not proof of a surf-specific sponsor, cleanup, charity, mentoring role or equipment fund.

The beach & safety.

The Pukalani campus is not a surf meetup. HHSAA locates the May 2026 state event at Hookipa Beach on Maui. Neither the school address nor that event establishes a current training beach or standing practice schedule. Present beach, access, transport, supervision and ocean conditions decisions must be confirmed by the campus operator.

Contests & results.

Liveheats records Kamehameha Schools - Maui Girls (MIL) with 670 points at the May 1-2, 2026 event. That reviewed entry does not establish a boys entry, a full-sized squad or a team title. Kapalama and Hawaii campus entries remain separate. The combined club table is not relabeled official girls standings.

Coaches & school ties.

The official surf page lists Kekaula Campbell as head coach and Evan Jenkins as assistant. Because its season heading and sign-up year conflict, current appointments still require confirmation through Maui athletics. The displayed official Kamehameha Schools wordmark is institution-wide, not a Maui surf-team logo. Student identities and personal contacts are omitted.
