The surf program.
The school athletics selector lists boys and girls varsity surfing; the reviewed boys page has a 2025-26 heading. The iolani.org-hosted club About page dates Iolani Surf to 2014 and describes its 2024-25 HSA, NSSA and Honua participation. That club history is attributed, not a claim that every past title was an HHSAA title.
Joining & eligibility.
The older club page describes school ocean activities and competition. A current varsity listing does not settle tryouts, club membership or contest selection. Current school eligibility, grades, sign-up window, club versus competition selection, swimming checks, clearance, fees, equipment, parent consent and transport must be confirmed with the authorized adult operator. No enrollment, payment or student data is accepted here.
Community & support.
The club publishes thanks to coaches and parents for water patrol, judging and event support. Those dated contest accounts are not guaranteed staffing or open volunteer opportunities. Student captains and contact details are not reproduced.
The beach & safety.
Older club contest posts name Rockpiles, Sandy Beach, Maili Point and other event sites. HHSAA places its May 1-2, 2026 state event at Hookipa Beach on Maui. These are dated venues, not a single permanent home practice break. Present meetup, travel, beach access, adult supervision and conditions decisions: confirm through athletics.
Contests & results.
Liveheats lists Iolani Boys (ILH) with 1,340 points and Girls (ILH) with 1,050 in its May 1-2, 2026 club leaderboard. That combined event table is not relabeled as the official boys or girls team championship standings. HHSAA separately names Kahuku and Waialua as team champions. Older 2024 HSA or Honua club titles are distinct events.
Coaches & school ties.
The club About page labels its coach list 2024-25 and separately labels advisors and consultants as non-coaching. The official reviewed varsity page did not verify a current named head coach. Current appointments: confirm through athletics rather than promoting older names. The official Iolani school wordmark is used, not a surf endorsement. Student identities are omitted.
