Hawaii Boardriders Club
Famous team wax program
Hawaii Boardriders Club members get 20% off Famous products with the club code.
Famous supplies wax to surf clubs and teams. Every team gets its own code: 20% off surf wax, traction and apparel, shared by a coach, captain or club officer. How the program works.
Hawaii regional network / United States
An island-wide boardriders network connecting local clubs, friendly team competition, scholarship support and mentoring across generations.
The club story.
The official site describes Hawaii Board Riders as a nonprofit sanctioned by US Board Riders and presents the motto The Future Is Local. It links local chapters on Oahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island. A footer starting at 2023 is not treated as proof of a founding or incorporation date.
Membership & community.
Official registration routes to Hawaii Boardriders federated organizations on LiveHeats. Its published residency criteria include local birth, schooling, five-plus years of residence or a regular hometown surfing connection for direct inland residents. It also describes one club switch. Current dues, season coverage, affiliate count and final selection rules: confirm with the local chapter. The rules page mixes two and four surfers per division and differing age divisions, so a single current format is not assumed.
The HIBR scholarship supports education alongside surfing. Its 2025/2026 page asks for sanctioned chapter membership, a minimum 2.5 GPA, a surfing video, recommendation and transcript. The same page gives conflicting January and April 2025 opening dates and a June 2025 deadline. Those are past-cycle details, not an open application promise.
The beach & break.
Hawaii island chapters
There is no one regional home break. Its published 2026 Hawaii Cup account names Pinetrees Beach on Kauai. Local Oahu and other island clubs have separate areas. Safe meeting points, exact next-event venue, beach permits and practice access: confirm per chapter.
Official beach guideContests & events.
The official homepage reports the 2026 Hawaii Cup at Pinetrees, naming Kauai champions and Maui runner-up. It also advertises February 2026 Usher Cup and May 2026 nationals, now past as of October 2, 2026. These headings are not treated as future bookings.
Check the event sourceChecked October 2, 2026. Past events are labeled as past. Dates, entry status and conditions can change.
Athletes & heritage.
The regional chapter pages name Sebastian Zietz for Kauai, Amber Pane-Bianco for Maui and Love Hodel for Oahu North Shore, alongside other Oahu leaders. These are published leadership ties, not a confirmed selected competition squad or endorsement of Famous.
Athlete / archive sourceSponsors.
The regional site sells its own shirts to support operations and publishes scholarship activity. Local event supporters should not be promoted into an island-wide sponsorship claim.
No Famous affiliation or endorsement is implied.
