Florida Board Riders
Famous team wax program
Florida Board Riders members get 20% off Famous products with the club code.
Famous supplies wax to surf clubs and teams. Every team gets its own code: 20% off surf wax, traction and apparel, shared by a coach, captain or club officer. How the program works.
Florida statewide network / United States
A statewide nonprofit surf network helping local chapters build community, mentor younger surfers and give back through the Florida Cup and coastal programs.
The club story.
The official About page announces a grassroots statewide organization and names Dane Jefferys as executive director. It describes an initial 2020-2021 competition series. Florida Division of Corporations record N20000005753 establishes a May 22, 2020 corporate filing for Florida Board Riders Inc. The record is ACTIVE as checked October 5, 2026 and shows a March 5, 2026 annual report. This is a corporate filing date, not proof of the exact informal founding date or the year attached to an undated April formation reference. Federal exemption is not independently verified by the state record. Primary corporate record. Florida Board Riders identifies itself as a 501(c)(3). It is a regional body, not one hometown surf team.
Membership & community.
The Join page encourages membership and participation and welcomes proposals for new local clubs via info@floridaboardriders.com. Join the relevant local chapter and confirm its current rules rather than assuming one statewide price.
The #RecycleTheStoke program connects surf instruction, youth mentoring, environmental stewardship and community giving. The official site describes past work with Surfear Negra, Heal Foundation, Special Olympics, Boys & Girls Club, Wounded Warriors, Surfers Healing and others. These are published historic partnerships, not a claim that every relationship is currently active.
The beach & break.
Florida coastal chapters
The state network has no single home break. The official 2026-27 Cup schedule names New Smyrna Beach Inlet, Ponce Inlet, Fort Pierce and Jacksonville. Each local club has its own area.
