The surf program.

NSSA lists Cocoa Beach in its 2026 national high school varsity team scoreboard. The official Brevard school athletics page grounds the school identity and Cocoa Beach location, but its reviewed content does not give a current surf program policy. The junior/senior campus also appears in a separate middle-school result; those divisions are not merged into one high school team.

Joining & eligibility.

The official athletics route is supplied for operator confirmation; the reviewed school page did not establish a surf-specific application process. Current school eligibility, grades, sign-up window, club versus competition selection, swimming checks, clearance, fees, equipment, parent consent and transport must be confirmed with the authorized adult operator. No enrollment, payment or student data is accepted here.

Community & support.

Florida Today reported in January 2018 that the inaugural Saltwater Sweethearts Pro/Am planned to support the high school surf teams travel and entry fees. This is a dated fundraising intention, not confirmation of proceeds received or a current sponsor.

The beach & safety.

The schools 1500 Minutemen Causeway address is a campus, not a surf practice meetup. The 2018 community fundraiser is also not a current home break.

Contests & results.

NSSA published the June 2026 national interscholastic results on June 18. Cocoa Beach tied fifth with Maui Preparatory Academy in HIGH SCHOOL VARSITY TEAM, each with 61 points. This is a dated national-event division result, not a current ranking. Cocoa Beachs separate middle-school entry is excluded from this high school profile.

Coaches & school ties.

No current surf head coach was established in the reviewed official school or NSSA content. School athletics is the verification route rather than an inferred role for a local surf-school instructor or fundraiser organizer. The official school logo is used. Student identities, athlete scores and personal contacts are omitted.
