The surf program.

CBA lists Surf Team within Club & Intramural Sports, separate from its interscholastic athletics menu. The seed event uses Christian Brothers Academy; the official Lincroft school identity is preserved rather than confusing it with another academy of the same name.

Joining & eligibility.

The official clubs page offers the school club route but no surf-specific application, open tryout date or clearance packet in the reviewed text. School interscholastic requirements are not assumed to cover this club automatically. Ask academy life or the adult Surf Team operator for the current joining route. Current surf grades, eligibility, tryouts, selection, clearance, ocean safety, fees, equipment, parent consent and transport need confirmation from the school or authorized operator. No enrollment, payment or student data is accepted here.

Community & support.

CBA describes clubs as opportunities to develop interests and serve the school and wider community. Its athletics mission stresses character and good conduct. These are school-wide aims, not evidence of a surf-specific cleanup, equipment fund or volunteer scheme.

The beach & safety.

The campus is not a surf meetup. Event entries do not establish a current practice beach, approved access or supervision. The authorized adult operator must confirm the current beach, transport, consent, water skills, weather and ocean-condition decisions. No unsupervised session or standing meetup is offered here.

Contests & results.

The 2025 NSSA Northeast high-school event entry list carries this school affiliation. Entry rows are not converted into current scores or results.

Coaches & school ties.

The current official clubs page names Surf Team but does not identify its moderator in the reviewed text. A search-found 2014 alumni publication refers to an older moderator; that historical lead is not promoted to current staff. The school Inside Athletics page names Nicholas Mariniello as director and Nick Aguilera as athletic trainer, but neither is automatically the surf-club operator. Student identities and personal contacts are omitted.
