The March 26, 2026 Coastal View report describes Carpinteria high-school surfers completing their second SSS season, winning the Los Angeles-Santa Barbara division and reaching the state championships. The league table independently records a 5-0 season. The community Carp Surf Team site instead says competition will begin in 26/27; that undated statement conflicts with the earlier competition evidence and is not used to rewrite the history.
