The club story.
Judd Handler's October 2011 Patch community report describes the newly formed club and interviews Otis Sistrunk, then president and team captain. It identifies beach care, charity and accessible surfing as goals. The Coalition still lists Cardiff separately from Swami's, and Pacific Beach Surf Club's current calendar names Cardiff as co-host.
