The club story.
Local BayNet reporting credits Bruce Gabrielson with co-founding Annapolis Surf Club and places that in the mid-2000s. His own 2002 photograph archive already labels Annapolis members, so the sources do not settle an exact founding year. The Coalition lists ASC among its East Coast clubs. This profile preserves that date conflict instead of picking one.
Membership & community.
Early-2000s member travel reports and a club listserv show a social network of surfers, but no current membership application or fee schedule was verified. Historical participants are not a current member count. Registry aggregators are not current tax-exemption or contact proof.
A May 2005 firsthand trip report records Annapolis members helping the Ocean City Surfrider chapter plant an Aloha Garden in North Ocean City before surfing. It also describes a hosted social weekend. Those are dated examples of coastal stewardship and friendship, not a present volunteer calendar or fundraising total.

Maryland and Delaware Atlantic-coast travel
Annapolis is the community base in the club name, not a verified ocean surf break. Historical member records document travel to Ocean City, Assateague and Delaware, including a 2005 weekend at Doughville Beach. These are historical destinations rather than scheduled sessions or access advice.
