The surf program.
The official school identifies itself as home of Na Alii at 98-1276 Ulune Street. HHSAA identifies its OIA affiliation, and Liveheats records an Aiea HS Boys entry at the May 2026 state event. School founding in 1961 is not a surf-team founding date. Event representation does not establish a full-sized roster, girls team or an ongoing school-wide surf program.
Joining & eligibility.
The official school links to its athletics site and a general adult athletics contact. No current surf-specific enrollment policy was established. Current school eligibility, grades, sign-up window, club versus competition selection, swimming checks, clearance, fees, equipment, parent consent and transport must be confirmed with the authorized adult operator. No enrollment, payment or student data is accepted here.
Community & support.
The reviewed school, athletics and championship content verifies identity and event representation, not a particular surf-team charity, cleanup, mentoring project, equipment fund or commercial sponsor. General school programs are not silently attributed to surfing.
The beach & safety.
HHSAA locates the May 1-2, 2026 event at Hookipa Beach on Maui. The Aiea campus address is not a beach meetup, and a state-event venue is not a home practice break. Present training beach, schedule, travel, access, adult supervision and ocean-safety plan: confirm with the school operator.
Contests & results.
Liveheats lists Aiea HS Boys (OIA) with 555 points in its 2026 event club leaderboard. Its points and combined-table position are not promoted as an official boys team placement or proof of a full squad. No girls entry is inferred from the reviewed record. The event is dated.
Coaches & school ties.
The school-linked athletics page asks families to contact Athletic Director David Lane. HHSAA also lists him as athletic director; that general role is not a verified surf head coach appointment.
